B5 Systems Stock Options

No doubt many readers are familiar with B5 Systems and its extensive line of modern sporting rifle furniture and accessories. For 2024, though, the company is taking an important step in providing direct-to-consumer sales, allowing AR enthusiasts to obtain the company’s products without having to go through a middleman. Of the company’s offerings, some of the most widely regarded are its stocks, which are not only popular in the consumer world but also with military and law-enforcement customers.

B5 Systems offers several tiers of AR stocks, starting with its Bravo. Borrowing design elements from the company’s mid-range Enhanced SOPMOD design, the Bravo is slimmer, lighter, more compact and stronger than its sibling, though it lacks some optional extras. For a no-frills, adjustable AR-platform buttstock, though, the Bravo checks all the boxes, including a non-slip, cushioned buttpad, QD sling mount, textured stock latch and ergonomic cheek rest.

Stepping up to the Enhanced SOPMOD, B5 built on the SOPMOD stock designed by the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center and manufactured for the military by B5 since 2011. This design adds an anti-rotation QD sling mount while retaining the dual, water-resistant storage compartments on either side of the cheekrest.

For precision rifles, B5 designed its Collapsible Precision Stock (CPS), which is offered with short, medium and long cheekpiece lengths. The stock allows for both gross and fine length-of-pull adjustments, thanks to its traditional six-position collapsible design, thumbwheel adjustments and compatibility with mil-spec carbine receiver extensions. Cheekrest height is also adjustable, and other features include both fixed and QD sling mount points, as well as an M-Lok accessory mounting point on the stock’s underside. Models are available in a range of colors, depending on the option selected.

MSRP is $61 (Bravo); $100 (Enhanced SOPMOD); $230 (CPS). For more information, visit b5systems.com.
