Watchtower Defense—which has acquired the assets of Watchtower Firearms—officially opened its new headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tomball, Texas, on Sept. 29. State representatives, local dignitaries, community leaders, industry partners, members of the media and other invited guests attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and received an exclusive first look at several new products planned for 2027.
The new ownership team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of every aspect of the business after the acquisition. While Watchtower was respected for its handmade 2011-style pistols, Watchtower Defense will offer a duty-focused product line designed to meet the needs of military, law enforcement and personal-defense customers. As a result, the brand plans to have a broader reach without sacrificing key core values: USA-made, veteran-owned and backed by an industry-leading lifetime warranty.
As part of that transformation, Watchtower Defense relocated its headquarters and manufacturing operations to the new 24,000-square-foot site. The new state-of-the-art facility features advanced equipment and expanded production capabilities, giving the company the resources and flexibility to develop a broader portfolio of firearms and related products.
The long-term vision is to position Watchtower Defense as a broader, product-driven brand offering an expanding portfolio of products for the shooting, hunting and defense markets. New categories are already in development, creating opportunities for Watchtower Defense to reach new consumers and compete in markets beyond its previous portfolio.
For a short period, Watchtower Firearms and Watchtower Defense are working cooperatively through a transition services agreement. The approach allows the new company to prepare for many changes on the horizon without pausing production or delay in satisfying customer orders.
Watchtower Firearms was founded by Jason Colosky in 2022, and was headquartered in Spring, Texas. Its CEO, Jordan Davis, remains at the helm of Watchtower Defense.
“Jordan has demonstrated exceptional leadership and an unmatched ability to drive growth and innovation,” said Alan Kent, one of the owners of Watchtower Defense. “His vision and execution have already made a tremendous impact, and I’m confident he is the right leader to guide Watchtower Defense into the future.”
