Armed Citizen® Today

A man in Tulsa, Okla., reportedly came onto another man’s property on July 15, told him he would steal his truck and threatened to kill him if he resisted. The homeowner decided to go into his house and armed himself with a baseball bat when the stranger followed him in. He struck the intruder and a struggle ensued. The fight continued back outside, where the homeowner reportedly tried to disengage, but the man turned and charged at him again, causing the homeowner to fire one shot, striking the purported assailant in the leg.

The suspect was transported to the hospital for treatment and faces charges of attempted robbery by force (first degree), first-degree burglary and assault and battery.
