Beretta’s 92 handgun is a classic firearm that not only defined the brand, but has served the U.S. military for four decades. The company keeps refining and updating the 92 design, and its latest collaboration is with Langdon Tactical Technologies that is designed for both competition and duty: the 92G Elite Combat LTT.

Beretta’s 92G Elite Combat LTT is an enhanced pistol designed for competition and duty.

The Beretta 92G Elite Combat LTT is based on the company’s full-size, alloy-frame 9 mm Luger-chambered Model 92A1. The “G” designation means that the Elite Combat only has bilateral decocking-only levers mounted on its slide, as opposed to the combination safety/decocker of the F models.

The 92G Elite Combat LTT was developed in collaboration with Langdon Tactical Technologies.

What sets the 92G Combat Elite LTT apart from a standard 92 is a fiber-optic front sight, a DLC-coated hammer and sear, an Xtreme-S chrome-plated trigger, LTT grips, and a competition takedown lever with an extended “gas pedal.” The magazine release is extended and the pistol is fitted with a Toni Systems extended magazine well to speed up reloads. The 5.1-inch barrel is threaded and is fitted with a single port Toni Systems muzzle compensator. Magazines are made by Mec-Gar and their capacities are increased with Toni Systems +4 extensions for a total capacity of 22-rounds. Three magazines are supplied with each pistol.

The 92G Elite Combat LTT is “engineered to deliver improved control, faster follow-up shots.”

The 92G Elite Combat LTT’s enhancements are more than just bolt-ons. The LTT frame has enhanced frame beveling and front strap checkering and a beveled magazine well, along with aggressive front serrations on the slide.

Features of the 92G Elite Combat LTT include a threaded barrel that is fitted with a muzzle compensator and magazines with extensions for additional capacity.

The Elite Combat is one of numerous recent collaborations between Beretta and Langdon Tactical and comes on the heels of Beretta’s 92G Elite LTT II model released earlier this year. The Beretta 92G Elite Combat has an MSRP of $1,299. For more information, see the company’s website.
