Athlon Midas TSP1

One of only a few examples of an unmagnified (1X) prismatic scope available on the contemporary optic market, which is unfortunate, as it’s a concept that certainly has worth, the Midas TSP1 from Athlon Optics features an etched-glass reticle and a nitrogen-purged, one-piece aluminum chassis.

Functioning practically much like a red-dot—but with the added benefit of a crisper reticle that continues to be useful even after its battery has been fully drained—the reticle’s illumination can be toggled between red and green, each of which can be cycled through 10 brightness settings.

Calibrated for the .223 Rem. and 5.56 NATO cartridges, the reticle also incorporates holdover points for targets out to 500 yards and can be used to range a man-size target out to 300 yards.

Suggested retail price for the Midas TSP1 is $299. For more information, visit athlonoptics.com.
