In what it called the first major update in suppressor technology in a century, Operators Suppressor Systems (OSS) introduced helical flow-through suppressors to the market in 2009. The company's suppressors quickly became the standard for military and law enforcement. In 2021, the company re-branded itself as HUXWRX Safety Company, to reflect their mission to improve safety and minimize hazardous particle and gas exposure for suppressor users. Continuing the legacy of OSS, HUXWRX is still introducing new and mission-specific flow-through suppressors, with its latest products being the FLOW 9 M and FLOW 9k PCC.

HUXWRX, operating as OSS, introduced flow-through suppressor technology in 2009.

The principle behind HUXWRX’s flow-through suppressors is that a series of deflectors and coils inside the suppressors directs the gas that results from firing away from the bore and routes them forward through the front of the suppressors after they have been allowed to expand and cool to minimize their sound. The result is a suppressor that does not require modification to the firearm using it (the company recommends that you run a “normal” and not “suppressed” setting if your firearm has an adjustable gas block when using their suppressors), minimizes recoil and directs most of the firing gas and particles out of the firearm. HUXWRX suppressors are tested to military standards for durability, sound reduction and impact shift.

The FLOW 9 M is a lightweight, modular suppressor designed for a variety of platforms.
The FLOW 9 M’s modular design allows it to be configured for maximum sound reduction or compact size.

HUXWRX’s two new suppressors are 0.35-inch/9 mm caliber and are compatible with a range of cartridges from .22 LR and 9 mm Luger to .300 Blackout and .350 Legend, in both supersonic and subsonic velocities. The FLOW 9 M is a lightweight and modular suppressor designed for a variety of applications. A modular design, the FLOW 9 M can be configured for either maximum sound reduction or to minimize overall length. With a diameter of 1.375 inches, with its additional module in place it has an overall length of 8.6 inches, or 6.3 inches with the module removed.

The FLOW 9 M is available in either a Matte Black or Flat Dark-Earth Cerakote finish.
The FLOW 9 M’s modular design allows its overall length to be adjusted by 2.3 inches.

While the FLOW 9 M ships with a 1/2x28 TPI direct-thread piston and booster assembly for use with recoil-operated handguns, three-lug, Stiction Lock and direct-thread mount adapters are available. Constructed through additive manufacturing (3D printing) of Grade 23 titanium, with the booster assembly installed, it weighs 10.5 ounces in the long configuration or 8.3 ounces in the short configuration. Available with either a Matte Black or Flat Dark-Earth C-Series high temperature Cerakote finish, the FLOW 9 M has an MSRP of $849.

The FLOW 9k PCC is a high-volume suppressor designed for pistol-caliber carbines and submachine guns.
The FLOW 9k PCC is available in either a Matte Black or Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish.

The FLOW 9k PCC is a compact, high-volume suppressor designed for submachine guns, pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs), and large-format pistol platforms. Made of 7-4 heat-treated stainless steel through additive manufacturing, the FLOW 9k PCC has a diameter of 1.47 inches, a length of 5.33 inches and weighs 10.3 ounces. It ships with a 1/2x28 TPI direct-thread mount, but it is HUB-compatible, with three-lug, Stiction Lock, booster and other direct-thread mounts are available. Coated with either a Matte Black or Flat Dark-Earth C-Series high temperature Cerakote finish, the FLOW 9k PCC has an MSRP of $898.

The FLOW 9k PCC comes with a 1/2x28 TPI direct-thread adapter and is HUB-compatible.
The FLOW 9k PCC is adaptable to a variety of mounting systems.
