Magazine cap details
I suspect many owners need to removed the magazine cap. This is required to plug the magazine to a two shot maximum, for most USA waterfowl regulation. To removed the cap: a. First removed the barrel and magazine from the prior instructions. b. Next pull the pin (#19 - Magazine pin) until it is full extended. You should see the spring (#20 - Magazine Locking Pin Spring). c. Push down on the spring with a screw driver trip and slide pin out the remaining length. d. While holding cap (#17 - Magazine Plug) on magazine tube (#21), carefully remove screws (#18 - Magazine plug screws). The spring provides several pounds of force on the cap. Wiggle cap back and forth if it doesn't immediately release. e. The plug can now be removed or added inside the magazine spring (#22) Happy water fowling! -Ted
