The National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) today announced Winchester Ammunition as an official partner of the 2026 NRA Gun Bus Tour.
The NRA Gun Bus Tour—publicly launched as the 2026 NRA Gun Bus Battleground Tour—is NRA-ILA’s first-ever national bus campaign. The tour is taking grassroots, legislative, and political work directly to gun owners across 13 states and more than 60 planned stops, including gun stores, manufacturing facilities, ranges, college football tailgates, and community events, through Election Day on November 3, 2026.
“Winchester has supplied America’s hunters, competitive shooters, law enforcement officers, and service members for 160 years,” said John Commerford, Executive Director of NRA-ILA. “That kind of record is not built on slogans. It is built on products people trust and on a company that understands the Second Amendment is what makes lawful shooting, hunting, and self-defense possible. We are proud to have Winchester Ammunition as an official Gun Bus Tour partner.”
Winchester Ammunition is the leading small-caliber ammunition brand for hunting, recreational shooting, and law enforcement, and the largest supplier of small-caliber ammunition to the U.S. military. Known as “The American Legend,” the company manufactures ammunition and related products at facilities including East Alton, Illinois, and Oxford, Mississippi, and operates additional sites supporting commercial, law-enforcement, and military customers.
“Winchester exists to serve the people who hunt, train, compete, and protect this country,” said Brett Flaugher, President of Winchester Ammunition. “The Second Amendment is not a side issue for our customers—it is the foundation of the shooting sports and of lawful firearm ownership. We are proud to stand with NRA-ILA on the Gun Bus Tour and to help take that message to ranges, shops, and communities across America.”
Tour dates, the Winchester stop, and additional event details will be released on NRA, NRA-ILA, and NRA Gun Bus channels. Stay up to date on the tour at nraila.org/gunbus.
