MDT Hand Cannon Slingshot

Slingshots are fun, but they can also be a legitimate backup defensive tool—in 2023, a 13-year-old Michigan boy saved his 8-year-old sister from being kidnapped by using a $3 slingshot to fire a marble and a rock at the assailant, striking him in the chest and head. And if you’re going to up your slingshot skills, you might as well go for a tactical one like the MDT Hand Cannon.

Made of CNC-machined anodized aluminum, the Hand Cannon offers many customization options, including interchangeable grips (including an AR-style grip), a peephole sight and a Picatinny rail, with more options (like a wrist brace) expected soon. The flat bands are adjustable. Choose between red clay or stainless steel ammo—or, of course, use your own marbles and rocks.

Suggested retail pricing is $99.99 for the base model and $134.96 for the model shown above. For more details, visit mdttac.com.
