A coffee and firearm enthusiast helped end a potentially deadly assault in a Millcreek Starbucks. After fleeing from a 7-Eleven across the way, an agitated assailant entered the Starbucks and began hitting one of the clerks in the head with a metal object. The patron acted quickly to divert the attacker’s attention away from his victim, and was charged, whereupon he fired one round into the suspect’s chest. Neither the customer nor the patron were seriously injured during the altercation. (The Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake City, UT, 10/05/2018)

When they arrived, Yeager grabbed a .38 pistol and began firing as the par fled. He stopped one of his assailants with a fatal bullet in the chest. (Los Angeles Herald-Examiner)
