When two armed thugs kicked in the back door of a home in Worthington, Ky., the female resident showed them they picked the wrong victim. The armed citizen fired at both men, shooting one in the chest. The attackers retreated and jumped off the deck before the one who was shot collapsed and died. No charges were filed against the resident; the surviving alleged intruder was charged with murder because his accomplice died during the commission of a felony.
