The Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic carbine and variants—full-stocked rifles, compact models, AR-style SR-22 rifles and Charger pistols—represent one of the most popular .22 Long Rifle platforms of all time. But since its 1964 introduction, Ruger has offered only standard, flush-fitting 10-round rotary magazines for the 10/22.

That has changed with the company’s introduction of the BX-25 factory magazine. The black polymer 25-round “banana”-style unit features a stainless-steel, constant force spring that lifts a high-lubricity, red polyacetal follower to deliver cartridges through stainless steel feed lips to the chamber at an ideal 30-degree angle. The BX-25 can be disassembled for cleaning with a 3/32-inch Allen wrench. Price: $29.95
