In the running for the U.S. Army’s new sidearm last year was the FN 509 pistol. Ultimately it lost out to SIG Sauer's XM17, but the pistol has been made available commercially to civilians and law enforcement. The 509 platform has become popular among competition shooters for its ability to be customized, and you can see a modified version from Agency Arms with added serrations, an RMR cut and a stippling job in this video from Industry Day at the Range 2018.
