After years of third-party venders making money with aftermarket triggers for its ever-popular 10/22 semi-automatic rimfire rifle, Ruger has decided it's time to offer its own in-house upgrade. The new BX trigger unit arrives fully assembled in a polymer housing with a textured polymer trigger. It's packaged so that customers can try before they buy. The typical factory 10/22 requires around 6 lbs. of trigger pull to cycle. The unit we got a hold of just before SHOT Show gauged at a much more comfortable 3 lbs. 7 ozs. With a suggested retail price of $89.95, I'm looking forward to fitting the BX into a complete rifle to see how it performs. Learn more at the ShopRuger.com website.
