Lyman Borecam Pro

Lyman’s original Borecam was a very useful tool for visually inspecting the condition of a firearm’s barrel, but it had two shortcomings—a flimsy-feeling monitor with which to watch the camera’s output and the wand’s inconvenient cord.

The company recently updated the product, however, and the Borecam Pro eliminates both of these issues by providing a cordless barrel-inspection tool capable of sending captured images and video directly to the user’s smartphone, while also offering greatly improved (720p) resolution.

The Borecam Pro’s 24"-long rod is compatible with firearms having bore diameters of 0.20" or greater, and the wireless system also comes with a power charger, multiple wall adapters, lens-cleaning solution and cotton swabs. MSRP is $370. For more information, please visit lymanproducts.com.
