The Miami, Fla., based holster company, 1791 Gunther, unveiled a new addition to its line of leather holsters. Instead of fbeing made for a more modern handgun, the new holster is geared towards older styles of revolver. This new holster, the Single Action Revolver, is made specifically to fit classic single-action style revolvers.

Made completely out of American steer hide leather, the Single Action Revolver holster is constructed in a process that blends both modern production techniques and old-school leatherwork. The result is a holster that has a classic look, why also taking advantage of some modern improvements. It is designed to be fully ambidextrous with its attachment points, allowing use from both cross draw and strong-side carry.

It is available in both a 5.5" and 6.5" configuration to fit different barrel lengths, though the open end allows longer barrels to fit as well. The Single Action Revolver holster also features a safety strap with a snap tab, which provides steady retention of the revolver while also still allowing for a fast draw.
