Rimfire plinking can be a shooter's best training, especially novice or new shooters looking to acquire and hone skills behind the gun. To improve this experience, CZ USA offers its Model 457, a bolt-action rimfire inspired by its predecessor, the wildly successful Model 455. Of the various stock and barreled-action configurations offered, CZ’s 457, at its core is a switch-barrel .22 Long Rifle that features an adjustable trigger pack, detachable box magazine, forward-to-fire safety mechanism, optic rail and much more. To learn more about CZ’s 457 American, check out this NRA Gun of the Week video hosted by American Rifleman’s Christopher Olsen.
