Stoeger has introduced the latest version of its STR-9 line of handguns, the STR-9 Thinline+. Like every pistol in the STR family, the Thinline+ is built on Stoeger’s proven striker-fired, semi-auto platform. What makes it different is how it carries. The slim, 1-inch-wide slide rides close to the body to stay out of the way, while the standard-size grip gives shooters a solid, confident hold—making it easy to shoot as well as carry.

The STR-9 Thinline+ refines that mixture of ease of carry and shootability even further. Its ported barrel and lower overall profile reduces printing and lowers the bore axis for improved recoil control. A larger magazine well makes reloads quicker and more forgiving, while the Tungsten Cerakote slide finish adds both durability and corrosion resistance for everyday carry in real conditions.

Stoeger also focused on ease of use in the upgrade to Thinline+. The lighter slide is easier to manipulate, making it more manageable for weak-hand operation or for shooters who struggle with heavier recoil-spring assemblies. Low-light capability comes standard with tritium night sights for dependable, around-the-clock readiness. The Thinline+ is optic-ready with an RMSc Shield-footprint optics cut offering direct-mount capability.

At the end of the day, the STR-9 Thinline+ delivers exactly what working shooters need: practical concealability, serious capacity and dependable performance. This comes at a reasonable price, which is what shooters have come to expect from the Stoeger name.
