Iwi Masada Slim Micro Compact Pistol F

Built on IWI's full-size Masada line of handguns, the IWI Masada Slim is one of the latest entrants into the marketplace of micro-compact handguns. The new gun shares many of the same texture and aesthetic elements as the full-size gun, but the compact dimensions, slim frame and higher-capacity magazine make it a potent, portable pistol for personal defense.

Like the full-size variant, the Masada Slim is constructed around a modular trigger housing that comprises the serialized portion of the firearm. The housing is easily removable for cleaning or maintenance and sits inside a well-textured, contoured grip frame with a single-side slide-stop lever, bilateral magazine-release button and a blade-in trigger. Magazine capacity tops out at 13 rounds, and 10-round magazines are available in capacity-restricted states.

At the top end of the Masada Slim is a steel slide with cocking serrations fore and aft. The gun shares sight dovetails with the full-size Masada, and the factory sights consist of a white-dot front blade and a blacked-out rear that features a flat-faced leading edge for racking the gun one-handed off flat surfaces. Each Masada Slim also features a milled slide capable of accepting micro red-dot sights fitting the Shield RMS footprint. The muzzle end of the slide and frame are beveled to aid in holstering. Inside the slide is a 3.4" barrel.

Each IWI Masada Slim weighs 20.3 ozs., unloaded, and the guns ship with two magazines. The suggested retail price on the new Masada Slim is $450. For more information, visit iwi.us.
