Black Collar Arms MBA

For 2022, Black Collar Arms introduces its new Modern Bolt Action platform, or MBA. The MBA is an innovative straight-pull, bolt-action rifle design which incorporates several common components for the AR-10 platform in its construction. In fact, the MBA is compatible with AR-style grips, trigger groups, safeties, magazine releases and even SR-25 pattern magazines.

The inclusion of AR-10 components doesn't end there, as the MBA also uses an AR-10 bolt and even accepts standard AR-10 barrels (with the gas port blocked) and fore-ends. The straight-pull action of the MBA is designed to be quick and easy to manipulate and will incorporates extra levers to assist in primary extraction. Both the upper and lower receiver groups of the MBA are made in-house by Black Collar Arms from aluminum billet.

The top receiver has a flattop Picatinny rail running across the top, which can be changed out to match the height of whatever AR-10 hand-guard is attached. The Lower receiver includes a lightweight folding buttstock, with and adjustable cheekpiece. Overall weight of the MBA platform is under 6 lbs., unloaded.
