Browning has expanded its straight-pull, bolt-action lineup to include a target-ready rimfire with features hunters and plinkers will enjoy, too.
If you know Savage Arms and its history, you’ll understand that the legacy brand is known for ditching the status quo in favor of “hot-shot” engineering. A famed design of the 1960s has lead the company in a direction that now positions itself to provide the American market with an action design the likes of which have never been seen before—the Impulse.
Can the Savage Impulse change our minds about straight-pull rifles? It's a big hill to climb, but this new-for-2021 launch certainly seems like a contender.
