Not a lot in the industry surprises American Rifleman Editor-in-Chief Mark Keefe, but the announcement that SIG Sauer intended to launch its own ammunition line certainly did.

SIG is having the line made to its specifications, with its components. At its launch, the line will have offerings in 9 mm, .40, .45 and, of course, .357 SIG. It's expected to be on shelves later on in 2014.
