Expanding on its lineup of affordable .22 LR rifles, Rossi USA has announced the addition of a classic-American plinker. The new-for-2020 Rossi Gallery is a .22 Long Rifle-chambered pump-action rifle that harkens back yesteryear’s smallbore rifle home to shooting parlors of 19th century. Building off of a great American pastime of target shooting, plinking and small-game hunting, the Rossi Gallery comes with a German beechwood stock and corn-cobb-style, ribbed grip on the Gallery’s slide.
The Gallery rifle features a 18” polished-steel barrel and commands and overall length of 36”. Indicative of pump-action rimfire rifles, Rossi’s newest addition feeds from a tubular magazine with 15-round capacity. Putting rounds on target is aided by the inclusion of classic sight styling—open buckhorn-style sights with adjustments for windage and elevation. The hammer-fired action features a crossbolt safety just above the gun’s trigger. Rossi include sling swivel studs for field carry and a modern, open trigger guard allows access with a gloved hand.
