The Grand Opening of Weatherby’s facility in Sheridan, Wyo., will take place on June 13, and the company is inviting enthusiasts to the visitor’s center to participate in the official ribbon cutting. Events will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Multiple auction items will be up for bid, including two Mark V Gold Commemorative rifles with serial numbers WY000307 and WY000003. There will also be raffles, conservation group activities, live music and facility viewing areas. The visitor center will have historical documents, classic taxidermy and opportunities to learn about Weatherby history.

Weatherby announced its plan to move from Paso Robles, Calif., to Sheridan, Wyo., during the 2018 SHOT Show. The company moved into the new space on the north side of Sheridan—at 1550 Yellowtail Drive—in March, although June 13 is the official Grand Opening.

“I am so grateful for Weatherby’s past and the rich heritage that began so many years ago in Southern California with my grandfather,” said company president Adam Weatherby. “I am also incredibly grateful for the state of Wyoming and the many others that helped get us to our new home.”

Weatherby is also offering cash back on purchases of select company models made from May 15 to July 15. Enthusiasts who take home a new Weatherby Accumark, Accumark RC, Weathermark, Deluxe, Sporter, Camilla Deluxe or Camilla Ultra Lightweight may qualify for $100. The Weatherby Altitude, Altitude RC, CarbonMark, First Lite, First Lite RC, KCR, KCR RC, Outfitter FDE, Outfitter FDE RC, Subalpine, Subalpine RC, Ultra Lightweight, Dangerous Game, Safari, TacMark, TacMark Elite, Lazermark or Camilla Subalpine can come with $200 back.

Certain terms and limitations apply. To qualify, the rebate form must be fully completed and postmarked by Aug. 1, 2019. It must also be accompanied by the original, dated sales receipt with the store name visible and legible (Weatherby advises keeping a photocopy for your records).
