The HK VP9 was American Rifleman's 2015 Golden Bullseye winner for Handgun of the Year. While Heckler & Koch gets credit for introducing the first early striker-fired pistols (the VP 70 and the P7) the gun maker's new models contain a number of modern and ergonomically excellent features that makes pistols like the VP9 stand out. Since this model launched several years ago—HK's first striker-fired model in decades—the model has included several line extensions. Watch this "Rifleman Review" segment from a recent episode of American Rifleman TV to learn more about the HK VP9, and for more on this series of pistols, see below.
