Mossberg has announced the arrival of a new series of traditionally styled bolt-action rifles fitted with the most commonly requested features of its previous center-fire designs. Dubbed the Patriot series, these rifles will have a streamlined bolt handle, redesigned bolt knob and hunter-inspired classic-style stocks.  With more than 60 models in 11 calibers, including the latest in big-game calibers, the line will include Bantam youth models, Vortex Optics-scoped combinations and Night Train synthetic stocks. Suggested retail prices will range from $386 to $811, depending on the features selected. Shown is the .243 cal. with matte walnut stock.
