Sig Sauer has announced the company's partnership with the Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) organization to help wounded servicemen and women enjoy outdoor activities. A portion of sales from the new SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace will go to HAVA. The SB15 was designed by a veteran for a disabled colleague, and allows people with reduced upper body strength to comfortably shoot pistol versions of the AR-15 platform.

“HAVA has been at the forefront of helping American servicemen and women get back into the shooting sports, and we’re huge supporters of this effort,” said Sig Sauer Vice President of Marketing Bud Fini. “We’ve seen firsthand the positive impact from getting these veterans back to the activities they love and we’re just thrilled to be able to help this program.”

“SIG SAUER has been a supporter of HAVA, going back to some of the first range events,” said HAVA’s Chief Executive Officer Tom Taylor. “We’ve always thought the Sig brand was a perfect fit for the wounded warriors we serve. And now they are a HAVA sponsor at the highest level with financial support, firearms, volunteers, and a product that is functional for disabled shooters.”

Sig Sauer will provide firearms for HAVA range events and hunts, as well as certificates for fundraising raffles. The company's staff will be on hand to help during range days, and when available Sig Sauer's shooting team captain Max Michel will make appearances to help coach HAVA participants.
