Though they’re not as commonplace as they once were, lever-action rifles are inherently American. They've earned their place in the country's history, and are most often associated with the Old West. Rossi tried to capture all of that lore when it released our latest Gun of the Week, the Rio Grande.

The Rio Grande is reminiscent of the famous Marlin Model 336 lever-action and is available in three chamberings—.30-30 Win., .45-70 and .410 bore.

In an era dominated by "black guns," it’s good to occasionally be reminded of the classics—and that’s what Rossi does with the Rio Grande.
