In this 2005 American Rifleman TV feature segment, we shared the story of one man whose marksmanship and courage not only saved the lives of his comrades, but led a country boy from the mountains of Tennessee to national fame. His name was Alvin York. We went to Alvin York’s home and met with two of his sons to help tell the story of this American rifleman, his bravery and his marksmanship. Contributing Editor Garry James walked the ground of the family farm more than 15 years ago. Not only did he write this cover story, he also field produced a television show. Watch it here.
