The idea of a switch-barrel rifle sounds interesting, right? It’s an intriguing thought for most riflemen and women, but typically the setback is the cost of the second barrel. Thompson/Center’s Dimension bolt-action may eliminate that issue: its list price is only $699; additional barrels are just $199.

T/C offers four caliber groups: the “A” group is .204 Ruger and .223 Rem.; “B” is .22-250 Rem., .243 Win., 7mm-08 Rem. and .308 Win.; “C” is .270 Win. and .30-06 Sprg.; “D” is 7mm Rem. Mag. and .300 Win. Mag. When demands warrants, the company envisions adding more calibers.

You can get a closer look at the Dimension below, in a video hosted by American Hunter Editor-in-Chief Scott Olmsted.
