An armed homeowner stopped three burglars impersonating police officers in southeast Houston one night. After finding three intruders in her house, one of whom shouted "Police!" the Houston homeowner noticed one of the men was wearing a pistol, which prompted her to retrieve her gun. She and the men then engaged in a shootout, which impelled the would-be robbers to flee. The homeowner was hit in the arm, and was taken to a nearby hospital. (KTRK, Houston, Texas, 5/31/19)
