Best known for its big 50s, Barrett has also been in the semi-automatic rifle business for some time with its Rec-7 line. And Barrett was one of the first companies to chamber Federal Premium’s 224 Valkyrie cartridge. The new round stays supersonic out to 1300 yards, and it’s the Next Big Thing. American Rifleman‘s Mark Keefe had a chance to shoot the 18” barreled CSR version, and you can see it here. For more, visit barrett.net.
