Sellmark Groundbreaking

In an effort to reduce reliance on international supply chains and bolster domestic manufacturing, Sellmark Corp.—parent company of the Sightmark, Pulsar, Inforce, Kopfjäger, Firefield, BulletSafe and Dark 30 brands—has broken ground on a new manufacturing complex in Mansfield, Texas, that it calls a “transformative force for American-led growth and innovation.”

Ultimately, the Verdexium manufacturing complex will encompass 450,000 sq. ft. across a multi-phase campus, with phase one providing more than 167,000 sq. ft. to establish operations. The goal is to provide infrastructure, expert networks and manufacturing capabilities to startups and small manufacturers and ultimately shorten the startup-to-market timeline from seven years to less than three. An added benefit of Verdexium is the ability to reduce dependence on offshore manufacturing, notably China-based supply chains, and strengthen the American manufacturing base in key industries.

“We’re not just turning over some soil here,” said James Sellers, CEO of Sellmark. “We’re turning the page to a new chapter in American innovation, entrepreneurship and manufacturing.”
