To reduce recoil on some of its harder hitting rifles, Ruger has introduced a new muzzlebrake system on three models. However, if you belong to the category of shooters who prefer recoil to the deafening noise that results from using a muzzlebrake, you can swap it out for a weight. While eliminating the deafening noise, the weight also puts your bullet at the exact point of impact. The muzzlebrake system is available on three Ruger rifles: the Guide Gun, African and Magnum Hunter models.

To learn more about these rifles and their calibers and finishes, watch video of Ruger's Mark Gurney as he walks you through their features.
