Looking for heavy-hitting airgun performance on a budget? Check out the Sam Yang Big Bore 44 909 Light Hunter—a precharged pneumatic, single-shot air rifle with classic styling and an appetite for .45-cal. projectiles. Dual onboard air tanks provide 500 ccs of 3,000 p.s.i. compressed air, and the 21.65" rifled barrel develops muzzle velocities up to 730 f.p.s. Weighing in at 8 lbs., 8 ozs., the Light Hunter is topped with iron sights both front and rear.

To take advantage of modern sporting optics, an 11-mm dovetail rail is machined into the receiver. The nickel-colored receiver is engraved, which gives the gun a little extra class not usually seen on an airgun. The walnut Monte Carlo stock is checkered in the grip and fore-end, and a raised, right-hand cheekpiece adds to the shooting comfort of the Light Hunter. MSRP: $670. pyramydair.com
