Picatinny Mount

Fitting accessories to a classic Ruger Mini-14 has proved challenging in the past. Now Skinner Sights comes to the rescue with its bolt-on Mini-14/Thirty Picatinny mount.

Machined from bar stock, the aluminum mount attaches easily to the front two holes in the upper section of the factory gas block, providing a three-slot section of Picatinny rail that allows for the attachment of a light, laser, fore-grip or bipod.

A QD swivel stud on its left side works well when fitting a sling to an accessory folding stock, such as the Samson A-TM. Installation takes only minutes and requires no gunsmithing. Extended mounting screws and an Allen wrench are included.

Black- and silver-anodized versions are available for both “180” series and “580” series models with an MSRP commanding $60. For more information, please visit shopruger.com.
