Southpaws usually get short shrift when it comes to firearm selection. But a new American pistol manufacturer called New Order Firearms  (a division of Evans Machine Company) now offers its NO9 polymer framed semi-automatic pistol in a true left-handed version as well as a right-hand model.

The trigger is surprisingly light with a smooth pull and short trigger stroke comparable to a 1911 single-action trigger. The left and right NO9s are constructed using slides and smaller metallic components milled from steel billet in-house. You will not find a cast, MIM, or laser welded part anywhere on these pistols. Both models are caliber convertible to .40 S&W using a $200 conversion kit. The pistols are designed to use easy to find standard Beretta 92 or 96 magazines. MSRP starts at $625.
