When shooting at extended ranges, particularly with small-caliber rifles, seeing steel move or hearing the “ding!” of an impact can be difficult. Hornady is making it easier to spot good hits with its HIT Target Impact Indicator.

The bright, red light flashes H-I-T in Morse Code once the onboard accelerometer detects the vibrations from a bullet impact.

Depending on ambient lighting and weather conditions, the light can be seen from up to 1,000 yards away.

An elastic band on the back of the light body makes it easy to attach to most targets, and a micro-USB cord is included to recharge the unit.

MSRP is $18 (pack of two). For more information, visit hornady.com.
