Boot Campain 28 Nosler

Nosler, Inc., announced the beginning of a new program it is launching in support of the nation's veterans and their families. The program involves 22 specially serialized Nosler bolt-action rifle packages, with the proceeds from the sales going directly to the Boot Campaign.

These Model 48 custom bolt-action rifles comes with PROOF Research carbon-fiber barrels chambered for .28 Nosler, and also feature Timney triggers pre-installed. The furniture used on the rifles are custom Manners carbon-fiber stocks, which are coated with a special Kryptek Obscura Nox camouflage pattern that also highlights the carbon-fiber construction of it. To finish off the packages, the rifles are topped off with VX-5HD 3-15X44 scopes and accompanying mounts, which are generously offered by Leupold for the project. These scopes are mounted by Nosler and pre-zeroed to be ready for use right out of the box.

Each rifle has a price tag of $6,500, the payment of which will be handled directly by the Boot Campaign as a charitable donation. The Boot Campaign is a 501c3 non-profit organization, which creates specialized programs and customized care to treat the root causes of the unseen wounds from combat, including PTSD, dramatic brain injuries, chronic pain, self medication and insomnia. Each of the rifles has the Boot Campaign logo laser-engraved into the bottom metal to represent the project.

Once the payment is made, Nosler will ship the rifles to the FFL of choice for the purchaser. As stated by company president John Nosler: "Chris Kyle famously said that it is our duty to serve those who serve us. We don’t take that lightly and Boot Campaign does a tremendous job in helping the people and their families that have sacrificed the most for our freedoms. For us this project wasn’t even an option but an obligation and the only other question we had was what can we do next to help this nation’s greatest heroes."
