Taurus is blending the best of two designs with its GX4 Carry pistol, combining a larger grip frame with a 15-round magazine with a compact slide and barrel that makes the pistol easier to carry. Taurus USA claims the GX4 Carry is the result of consumer requests, and it comes with a number of enhancements, including the T.O.R.O. optic-mounting system and a Picatinny accessory rail on the frame.

Despite being called a "compact" frame and still remaining easily concealable, the GX4 Carry allows users to obtain a full firing grip on the frame, making the gun easier to control. The top end of the pistol contains a 3.7" barrel, and the optics footprint accommodates all red-dots of the Holosun K-series.
