Winchester SXP Defender Odgreen

Winchester Repeating Arms added a new option to its popular SXP Defender pump-action shotguns line for 2022 with the SXP OD Green Defender. Like the other SXP Defenders, the new OD green version is available in 12 ga. and 20 ga., with both chambered for 3" shells. The receiver is made from aluminum alloy and topped off with a Perma-Cote OD Green finish.

The same is true for its 18" barrel, which also features a hard-chromed chamber and bore, along with compatibility with Inventor-Plus choke tubes. The barrel is also topped off with a clip-on TruGlo fiber-optic front sight behind its normal brass-bead post. Shells feed from a tube magazine that accepts up to five 2 3/4" shot shells, with the tube being left in a black finish.

Both the buttstock and the cob fore-end are made from OD Green colored composite, with the butt including an Influx Technology recoil pad. Matte blued sling-swivel studs can also be found on the bottom of the but and at the front of the fore-end for sling attachment. Overall, both the 12 ga. and 20 ga. SPX OD Green Defenders weighs in at 6 lbs., 4 ozs., and have an overall length of 38.5". The 12 ga. SXP ODG Green Defender has a retail price of $389.99, while the 20 ga. variant is listed at $409.99.
