New for 2022, Stevens has introduced a new addition to its lineup of over-under shotguns, with the release of the Model 555 Sporting. Geared specifically for clay and target shooters, this shotguns has several features which help better adapt it to the competition circuit. This includes the incorporation of a lightweight aluminum receiver to keep weight down, which is also reinforced with steel inserts. 

Chambered for 3" 12-ga., shells, the Model 555 Sporting comes with 30" barrels, with included ports to reduce felt recoil and are chrome lined. On top of the barrels is a raised ventilated rib with mid-bead rear sight and fiber optic front sight. Other features include a manual extractor and a range-mounted manual safety, along with a single trigger shoe. Included with the Model 555 Sporting is a  set of Turkish walnut stocks, with a butt adjustable comb height and 14.5” length of pull. It also comes with five different interchangeable choke tubes from the factory.
