Henry Repeating Arms took a big step forward with its popular lever guns last year by introducing models with side loading gates in addition to the removable tubular magazine liner.

This year, the company has launched the X Model series of side-loading options outfitted with weather-resistant, black polymer stocks. These stocks are lightweight, durable and textured for improved purchase. The fore-end sports a four-slot Picatinny rail and two M-Lok accessory slots. The shoulder stock features a pistol grip with a solid rubber recoil pad.

The sight system consists of a fully adjustable fiber-optic rear sight paired with a fiber-optic front sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics. Customers can choose from the .45-70 Gov’t hunting rifle, Big Boy revolver-cartridge carbines chambered in .45 Colt, .44 Mag. and .357 Mag., or a .410 bore shotgun.
