The CZ-USA All American over-under shotgun is tailored for sporting clays and features the kind of quality enthusiasts demand. It is available with either 30- or 32-inch ported barrels with extended forcing cones.

The gun is precision CNC-machined, which means drop-in replaceable parts, including locking blocks if you run through thousands of round every year. Its four-way comb and adjustable buttplate allows owners to fine tune everything to their physique and shooting style quickly and easily.

Select Turkish walnut and blacked out chokes and action give it a distinctive look, one that’s obviously gained a following. It was, after all, the top-selling over-under shotgun on GunBroker.com last year.

MSRP for the 12-gauge is $2,572. It chambers 2 3/4- and 3-inch shotshells and both the 30- and 32-inch versions weigh in at roughly 8.5 pounds. A tang safety, ejector and mechanical trigger that fires the lower chamber first round out the mechanics.

The barrel and other metalwork are gloss blue. A raised steel rib ensures the kind of intuitive sight picture up to the fast-paced challenge of sporting clays. Length of pull is 14 5/8 to 15 1/2 inches and the trigger can be adjusted slightly forward or back to accommodate small hand-size differences.

Akhar Arms, which is located in a region of Turkey renowned for producing fine shotguns, makes the firearm. It is imported by CZ-USA, and it’s quickly gained a following among clay enthusiasts, despite only being introduced stateside last summer.

Screw-in chokes that come with the shotgun include Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Light Modified, Modified and Improved Modified. The stock and fore-end feature an oil finish and have 24-lpi checkering.

The shotgun comes with a five-year warranty on the metalwork/mechanism—wood is covered for a year—choke wrench and Allen keys to adjust the stock and trigger, if needed.
