Do you have the best bug-out bag on the block? If so, pay attention. Cheaper Than Dirt! is promoting National Preparedness Month through its Battle for the Best Bug-Out Bag contest and giveaway.

Through Sept. 30, 2014, Cheaper Than Dirt! is accepting entries to the content, with the grand prize winner set to win up to $300 worth of survival supplies. A second place winner will be awarded a $100 Cheaper Than Dirt! e-gift card and two third prize winners will each win a $50 e-gift card.

Here's how to enter: Keeping within a $300 budget (excluding shipping and taxes), shop the site for survival-type gear (excluding guns and ammo) and put the items in your cart. When you're finished shopping, take a screen shot of your cart and send it to [email protected]. The grand prize winner will receive his or her bag or container and everything in it!
