NRA Gun of the Week: Winchester XPR Renegade Long Range SR

The XPR Renegade Long Range Suppressor Ready (SR) is one of the latest bolt-actions from Winchester Repeating Arms that is designed for long-distance target shooting and hunting. The feature-rich platform was built from the ground up to be affordable and provide operators with the company’s latest advancements such as the M.O.A. Trigger System, button-rifled and stress-relieved barrel, machined receiver, Inflex recoil pad and more.

Each XPR Renegade Long Range SR ships with a Grayboe Renegade stock, which is purpose built for precision shooting and features a wide, flat fore-end that provides a pronounced and level surface for shooting off of. Grayboe includes a near-vertical pistol grip to promote the operator’s ability to control the adjustable M.O.A. Trigger. A generous butt hook and sling mounts are provided here, too.

Winchester’s XPR Renegade Long Range SR features a through-hardened, steel receiver that is machined from bar stock. This latest iteration bolt-action from the legendary brand is set to accommodate short action chamberings that include the company’s 6.8 Western cartridge, among other popular chamberings such as 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and more.
