Red Arrow Weapons, based in Fork Union, Va., adds a new addition to its line of custom AR-platform rifles with the RAW15 chambered in 5.56x45 mm NATO and .223 Rem. Like the other offerings in the Red Arrow Weapons lineup, the RAW15 chambered in 5.56x45 mm NATO and is geared for varmint and tactical use.

The RAW15 upper and lower receivers are both forged from  7075 T6 aluminum. The upper receiver is an A3 style with Picatinny rail segments spanning across the flat top, with T-marks to help the user keep track of optic mount placement. Connected to the upper receiver is a 16” 5.56x45 mm NATO and .223 Rem. chambered barrel made of 4150 chrome-moly steel with a 1:8" twist rate that is Melonite-treated. The barrel is threaded for 1/2x28” TPI and comes with a DB15 556 muzzle brake attached. The barrel uses a mid-length direct-impingement gas system.

Also connected to the upper receiver is a 15” aluminum handguard with M-LOK compatible slots on the bottom and sides, along with two interrupted Picatinny rail segments at the front and rear on top. Housed inside the RAW15 upper receiver is a shot-peened, magnetic-particle inspected bolt carrier group made of 8620 steel that is also Melonite-treated. The upper receiver also houses a charging handle with an extended latch on the left side.

The RAW15 lower receiver comes with a 3.5-lb. single-stage CMC trigger pre-installed with CMC anti-walk trigger pins. It also comes with an enhanced trigger guard and Magpul K2+ rubberized grip. On the six-position mil-spec buffer tube is a Magpul CTR telescoping stock. The overall length of the RAW15 varies from 32.5” with the stock collapsed and 36.25” with the stock extended. The total weight of the RAW15 is 6 lbs. 9 oz. unloaded. It comes with a single Magpul P-Mag.

The RAW15 is available in two color schemes, either black with red accented parts or in midnight bronze Cerakote finish. The MSRP of the RAW15 varies from $1,260 to $1,287 depending on the selected color scheme.
