Just in time for small-game seasons to open across the country CCI Ammunition released its Maxi-Mag Clean-22 for .22 WMR-chambered rifles.

CCI Ammunition has a new product that is part of its Clean-22 subdivision of Maxi-Mag ammunition offerings. The Maxi-Mag Clean-22 SHP .22 WMR load is designed to be unique and versatile, with a 46-gr. jacketed hollow-point bullet with segmentations designed to sever upon impact. Additionally, the JHP bullet wears a red polymer coating.

CCI is priming its brass cases with clean-burning propellants to provide muzzle velocities in excess of 1800 f.p.s. and maintains a velocity of 1400 f.p.s. at 100 yds. The advanced, rimfire bullet design combined with upper-tier velocity translates to increased terminal performance on game.

The result is a bullet that small-game hunters and target shooters alike will appreciate. The addition of polymer to the bullet’s exterior helps minimize barrel corrosion, which equates to more time spent shooting and less cleaning, and the polymer coating enhances the feeding function required by most of today’s repeaters.

CCI Ammunition’s Maxi-Mag Clean-22 SHP .22 WMR commands an MSRP of $18.99 and ships in 50-ct. boxes. To learn more, please visit the company website HERE.
