Otis Products, a leading purveyor of firearm maintenance tools, has unveiled many new products for 2020 this week at SHOT Show in Las Vegas, several of which are fresh iterations of the company’s Ripcord. The Ripcord is a pull-through bore snake, with a helix-shaped rubber core to ensure the tool engages the rifling for a thorough clean, that allows the gun’s barrel to be cleaned from its breech to its muzzle, which helps keep fouling and other debris from accumulating within the firearm’s action. Two Ripcord-related new releases include the Ripcord Multi-Caliber 10-Pack and the 3-Gun Ripcord Trio.

Ripcord Multi-Caliber 10-Pack

A conveniently quick and easy way to stock up on enough Ripcords to accommodate an entire safe’s worth of firearms, the Ripcord Multi-Caliber 10-Pack is just what its name implies, a set of 10 Ripcords in a handful of the gun industry’s most popular calibers. Calibers included in the set are: .17, .22, .243, .260 (6.5 mm), .270, .30, .35 (9 mm), .40 and .45. Bundled together in a soft carry pouch, the set also comes with a T-handle that makes pulling the Ripcord through the bore much more comfortable, and a short all-purpose brush. MSRP: $100

3-Gun Ripcord Trio

Another Ripcord bundle, but one more closely catered to the needs of 3 Gun competitors is the 3-Gun Ripcord Trio. In order to facilitate the cleaning of the three most commonly encountered calibers within the sport of 3 Gun (.223 Rem., 9 mm Luger and 12 gauge), this three-pack of tools includes .22-cal., .35-cal. and 12 gauge Ripcords. A T-handle also comes with the 3-Gun Ripcord Trio in order to provide the user with a sure grip for when they are cleaning their competition guns between matches. MSRP: $35

Shooter’s Choice Bullseye Box

Otis Acquired Shooter’s Choice back in 2018, and for 2020 has released the Bullseye Box under that brand. A 300-item universal gun-cleaning kit for rifles, shotguns and pistols, the Bullseye Box is a tackle box-style case that contains all the tools and chemicals necessary to take proper care of your gun collection.

Tools included are: solid rods with swiveling handles for both long guns and pistols; brushes, mops and jags for nine calibers (.22, .243, .270, .30, .35, .40, .45, 20 gauge and 12 gauge); 100 1” square patches; 100 2.5” square patches; three all-purpose receiver brushes (bronze, nylon and stainless steel); 50 pipe cleaners; 100 cleaning swabs; three microfiber towels; a lens brush; and a dust brush. On the chemical side of things, the Shooter’s Choice Bullseye Box also features bottles of the company’s MC-7 Cleaner, FP-10 Lubricant Elite, All Weather Firearm Grease and Rust Prevent. MSRP: $175
