LaserMax has extended its line of Guide Rod Lasers to include a model compatible with Heckler & Koch’s VP9 pistol. A replacement recoil spring guide assembly with a solid-state laser diode in its face, when installed within the handgun and activated, the Guide Rod Laser emits a pulsed red beam wherever the VP9 is pointed. Weighing only half an ounce, the unit is constructed of hard-coat-anodized aluminum with genuine Wolff springs, and can be easily user installed without any special tools. The company claims the laser’s aiming point will be within 1” of the firearm’s point of impact at 10 yds., and our range testing of the product affirmed this assertion.
